How does the CRS work?

The CRS is the score used by IRCC to rank candidates in Express Entry. Candidates with higher scores receive Invitations to Apply (ITAs) in periodic draws.

The maximum score is 1,200 points. With a provincial nomination (PNP) you receive +600 pts, which virtually guarantees an invitation.
